Timers from the recipe

If the recipe says ten minutes, the timer is one tap away.

Timers come from what the source actually said. Start the one a step offers, or ask for your own by voice.

A drawn example. Names and numbers are illustrative.

How it works

  1. 1

Reach a step that mentions a time.

  2. 2

Tap the timer it offers, or ask for one.

  3. 3

    Keep cooking. It keeps counting.

Why it helps

  • Ranges stay ranges

“15 to 20 minutes” offers 15 and 20. It never settles on 17.5.

  • You finish the step

A timer running out does not complete a step. Only you can say it is done.

  • Survives a reload

Timers carry on if the page reloads, so a refresh does not cost you the count.
