Terms
What you can expect, and what you cannot.

A guide is not a validated recipe
It is built from a single demonstration by software that is designed to leave gaps rather than fill them. Amounts may be missing, and steps may be incomplete. Use your own judgement, and do not rely on a guide for allergy or food-safety decisions. RecipeMirror will not tell you whether food is safe to eat — that is a refusal, not an oversight.
Who operates it
RecipeMirror is operated by Rivoryn Ltd (CRO 815118), the same Irish company that operates DrySpell. By using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not, do not use it.
The service today
RecipeMirror is early software offered as it is, currently without a paid plan. Features marked “later” or “not built” on the site are not part of what you can expect. We will get things wrong, particularly when reading a source. The most useful thing you can do about a failure is report it.
Your account
If you sign in, you are responsible for the email and the access you keep. Delete the account whenever you like, from Kitchen Profile. Deletion removes your guides, your cooks and everything you reported while cooking, and it is not reversible.
What you bring in
Your recordings stay yours. By uploading one you confirm you have the right to, and that anybody recorded has agreed — the app asks before the microphone opens. Do not upload material you are not allowed to use.
Other people’s videos
RecipeMirror reads a public video where it lives and links back to it. It does not download, re-host or republish it, and using it does not give you any rights over somebody else’s work that you did not already have.
Standalone tools
Scale a recipe and Calories Calculator work without a video. They still refuse to invent grams or cooking times. The numbers they show are only as good as the amounts you typed or weighed.
Acceptable use
Do not try to break the service, scrape it abusively, or use it to harm anyone. We can suspend access if we have to.
Our software
The RecipeMirror name, the mark and the product itself are owned by Rivoryn Ltd. You do not get a licence to copy the service. Generated marketing photographs on this site are illustrations, not photographs of customers or of kitchens we work with.
Liability
We are not liable for a meal that goes wrong, for an allergy decision, or for a gap the software left because the source never said. Nothing here limits liability that Irish law does not allow us to limit, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that actually affects you, we will date the page. Continuing to use the service after that date is acceptance of the new wording.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. The courts of Ireland have jurisdiction, without limiting any consumer rights you have to bring a claim where you live.
