Cook mode shows the step you are on and the ingredients it needs. The tools you reach for stay on screen, so you never scroll with floury hands.
How it works
Open a guide and press Cook.
Follow one step at a time, with its ingredients beside it.
Turn your phone sideways to use it as a kitchen display.
Why it helps
Your screen stays on
On by default where your phone allows it, with a switch on the cook screen and clear advice if the phone refuses.
Ready checks, not guesses
Steps can ask what you see, like “Is it browned outside?”. A finished timer never moves you on by itself.
Weak signal, still cooking
The guide is kept on your device while you cook, so the steps do not vanish when the wifi stops at the hob.
