Kept on this device
- A cook timer reaches zero. If alerts are on, this browser shows the source’s cue — “check the colour”, not “your timer finished”. It works while RecipeMirror is still open in a tab. Closing the tab, or a phone putting the page to sleep, means the alert may not arrive.
- A source is still being read, or could not finish. The bell lights up. That is an in-app mark, not a phone notification. Tap it to see what is waiting.
- Nothing else. No email, no marketing, no alert from a server. There is no push queue, so we do not pretend a finished analysis will find you if you have left.
